Ondřej Pražák

Ing. Ondřej Pražák is the researcher and Ph.D. student at the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at the University of West Bohemia. The main area of his research is natural language processing, especially cross-lingual semantics. This means that he is creating models that allow to use data in a resource-rich language (typically English) to create (or improve) models for a language for which there is not much training data (for example, Czech). He is an active researcher since 2015. Besides that, he focuses on machine learning methods, especially on deep neural networks. He teaches the Machine Learning course.
