Legal specialist at the C4E Institute, Masaryk University – Czech Cybercrime Centre of Excellence. Ph.D. student at the Institute of Law and Technology, Faculty of Law, Masaryk University. Master’s degree in Law and Jurisprudence from the Faculty of Law, Charles University.
Information and Communication Technology Law is of my primary interest since my master’s studies. This is mainly due to a student position in a law firm, where ICT cases were part of the area of expertise of the team I worked for. Furthermore, a study exchange at the Faculty of Law at University of Oslo allowed me to gain valuable theoretical knowledge in the field of ICT Law. My past professional experience includes the private sector, as well as the public sector. Currently I work full time in academia and focus on research. My Ph.D. thesis “Legal aspects of Autonomous Technologies” proposes a theoretical legal framework for artificial intelligence considering civil law (tort liability and consumer protection) as well as cybersecurity and product safety.
